All of the activities seen on this schedule will be run over Zoom, a free video web chatting application that you can download onto your device. You can down load by clicking here: zoom.us/**Here is a breakdown of the activities we have to offer for this week:Monday, May 1710:30am - 11:30am: BingoTo play Bingo online, virtual cards will be sent to each participant at the start of the program, however if you would prefer a physical copy of the bingo cards, email @jcowan06@uoguelph.ca as she will provide links to printable versions of the cards so participants can print off the cards before the program and mark the cards during the program with a pencil, bingo dabber, or even coins/counters!1:00pm - 2:00pm: Learn To DrawBe sure to bring a pencil and paper with you to this meeting as we will be going over step by step tutorials on how to draw some of our favourite characters! 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Heads UpIn our Torchlight version of Heads Up! Players will be divided into two teams. In each 2 minute round, one player from each team will close their eyes while a list of words along with pictures related to the words are shown to the rest of the team. The team must give clues as to what's on the list so the person with their eyes closed can guess, however if the teammate reads what's off the list, those points will not be counted. During this time, the other team will remain silent until one of their players closes their eyes and guesses in the next round. One point is awarded to the team for every correct answer given by the player with their eyes closed.***Tuesday, May 1810:30am - 11:30am: The Money WheelFor this program, participants are split into two teams that will go head to head as they spin the money wheel! In Torchlight's version of The Wheel of Fortune, teams will attempt to guess letters within a hidden phrase in order to earn cash for their team! The team with the most cash at the end wins!3:30pm - 4:30pm: Tic Tac TorchFor this trivia game, teams will take turns as players choose categories from a 3 x 3 grid to answer a related trivia question. if correct, the team places their team logo on the 3 x 3 grid where the category was originally. 1 point is awarded for every correct answer (or 1 point for every time your team logo is on the grid). The object of the game is to get more team logos on the grid than the other team. It should be noted that teams receive an extra 5 points if they get their team logo in 3 spaces on the grid in a row! The team with the most points at the end wins 7:00pm - 8:00pm: YogaOur friend Bre will be joining us once again to lead us in a beginner's yoga class. Bre will be demonstrating one version of the sequence while a seated sequence will be demonstrated on the chair by Jennifer. It is recommended to wear clothing that is easy to move in, as well as some water to stay hydrated. Bringing a soft surface such as a towel, yoga mat, blanket, pillow for you to lay on will also help with comfort. ***Wednesday, May 1910:30am - 11:30am: Fill In The BlanksFor this game teams will be shown a phrase with a blank spot in the sentence, then shown a list of the most popular answers but only the first letter is revealed, the rest of the word is hidden. The first team to go will have 1 minute to guess what each answer is. 1 player will say an answer and if correct will go again, if incorrect the next teammate will go. Once the time is up the other team will have a chance to answer the remaining. 50 points are awarded for every correct answer. For example a game round might look like this: "My favourite DC super hero is _____"and participants will be shown a game board with a list of words with only the first letter revealed."W______ W_____" , "C________" , "F______", and "G____ L_____" .
