Torchlight Services
Hi everyoneHope you've all had a lovely weekend, here's our schedule of activities for the last week of July programming:Monday July 26th10:30-11:30am BingoTo play bingo online I'll be sending all participants bingo cards at the beginning of the program and using an online bingo number generator. If you or a participant you know would like to attend and receive bingo cards ahead of time to print off so selected letter/number combinations can be physically marked on the paper please email me at jcowan06@uoguelph.ca. I will provide you with the links to printable versions of the cards to use. Bingo cards will still be provided to everyone who joins but by printing them off beforehand we can make things a little more similar to the in-person version :)1:00-2:00pm The Money WheelFor this event participants will randomly be divided into two teams where they will go head-to-head as they spin the money wheel! In Torchlight's version of The Wheel of Fortune, teams will attempt to guess letters within the mystery word/phrase to earn points. The team with the most points at the end wins!7:00-8:00pm Fill in the BlanksTwo teams will attempt to guess the most popular answers to a fill in the blank phrase. In this game, the first letter of the top 10 answers are shown and players must use the first letter as a clue to the answer. Players will rotate through giving one worded answers until the timer runs out. 10 points are awarded for every correct answer and 50 points are awarded to the team that can guess all 10 words before the timer is out!Tuesday July 27th10:30-11:30am Learn to DrawJoin us to watch drawing tutorials on YouTube together to learn to draw your favourite movie, tv and video game characters (feel free to send any requests). We typically follow the channel Cartooning Club How to Draw if you would like to check it out! We recommend having a few sheets of paper and some drawing materials ready to go!1:00-2:00pm KahootKahoot is an online trivia game that allows players to use their phone as the controller for the game! You can download the Kahoot app in the app store of your mobile device or access the website at kahoot.it/. While Kahoot can be played on the same device that's using the Zoom meeting, some prefer bringing two devices, a laptop/tablet for the Zoom meeting and then a secondary mobile device, (phone/tablet) to use for Kahoot.4:30-5:30pm Group WorkoutJoin us for a beginner level workout led by YOU. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of exercises to target all areas of the body and overall physical wellness.
