I have worked in this field for many years. After graduating as a Developmental Services Worker and Mental Health Worker, I started my journey with Torchlight Services. I spent most of those years as a Vocational Support Worker for the program participants. In 2015, during tremendous transition, I began my role as the Executive Director.  Since then, I have received certification in Senior Leadership and Management in the Not-for-Profit Sector and have recently became a certified Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor.  It is my goal, as Executive Director, to ensure that we are offering the best support and services to our participants and their families and caregivers. Almost 2 decades have gone by and I am immensely proud of all that Torchlight has accomplished, despite the many challenges our organization has faced.  The staff and our participants are truly remarkable.  Many have told me that Torchlight is a place of belonging and family – I am so happy to be a part of this family and look forward to our future.
